Stuart and Marta have been on the entire D2N2 support journey. Initially supported by the D2 Business Starter Programme, serving as a springboard for the launch of this business. Clear Crystal Consultancy Ltd

Crystal Clear Consultancy Ltd is a recruitment agency based in Nottingham City specialising in the Care, Education and Construction sectors with over 25 years experience. Currently a medium player in the market the business goal is to become the biggest the best at providing quality staff for service providers, ensuring they are paid an excellent rate whilst reducing their carbon foot print during service delivery. The business strives to Implement technology where possible, helping the planet to become a much cleaner place.

Clear Crystal Director Linda Redmond worked closely with a number of Business Advisers at the D2N2 Growth Hub in order to apply for funding to help develop and grow the business further. After winning a national contract delivering B2B services, the business have now been able to establish the systems needed to meet the demands of the contract. The Compatriot

The Compatriot is an authentic Nigerian restaurant based in Nottingham. Priding themselves on serving freshly made, traditional dishes based on family recipes, passed down between generations.

Okra Outdoors

Okra Outdoors is a Derbyshire based manufacturer of premium active dog equipment. Its Arctic Wolf brand was established in 2010 and makes specialist collars, leashes, harnasses, shock-absorbing lines and accessories for both owners and their dogs, who want to get outdoors and be active.

A D2N2 Growth Hub business adviser worked with Stuart to focus on the longterm goals for the business and helped him to develop a strategy to achieve them. After receiving funding from the Capital Growth Fund, Stuart was able to purchase new sewing machines to increase capacity and output.

Naze View Farm

Naze View Farm is a small-holding farm in the High Peak, offering Airbnb accommodation and a unique Alpaca experience. Established in 2019 by Paul and Clare, the couple converted one of the outbuildings into a luxury two bed self-catering holiday let.

A D2N2 Growth Hub adviser carried out a business diagnostic and helped them to develop a three-year growth plan. The Growth Hub were also able to help signpost various Coronavirus funding.

Cook It Up is a home-based and mobile catering business creating and delivering healthy and fresh multi-cuisine meals to the local community in Notinghamshire. They also have a weekly stall at a local market.
