Our regular low carbon networking event at NSEC is back for October! You'll get the chance to network with lots of great, like-minded people, and hear from two great speakers.

Our guest speaker this month is Anthony Plant. He is the director at the award winning Unic International, where they are the UK’s leading manufacturer of quality waste management and cleaning products, their equipment has been designed to help customers substantially reduce costs and comply with the latest environmental standards. The company started 35 years ago in Basford, Nottingham and has since moved to a purpose built factory in Colwick. Their products are trusted through 31 countries around the world. Offering a distributor support network for new equipment, spares and service repair as far wide as Australia and New Zealand. His presentation will be focused around a new product: 'protecEarth Greener, Safer, More economical spray gun cleaning'.

Low Carbon Business Network will be on hand to tell you how you can get funding and support for your low carbon business ideas through a collaboration from the University of Derby, Derby City and Derbyshire County Councils.

You will also have the chance to hear from Nick Fox-Male from Patent Outsourcing & Tracey Hylton Burrows from the D2N2 Growth Hub, Nottingham Team.

At the end of the presentations, you have the chance to pitch your businesses in 2 minutes to the other delegates in the room - who knows, you may gain a lead or two! If you would like to do this, please email crsiewohmptnotorigcmhitn.oda@aetusucn.o (Maximum of 5 spaces available)
